October of 2020
In October of 2020, I received a prophetic dream where I believed I saw three very significant events that would occur in America with specific meanings. The first thing I saw was that Amy Coney Barrett would be seated as a Supreme Court Justice BEFORE the elections. This would confirm a new Esther and Deborah Era in America where righteous mothers will rise to confront the radical feminist movement that is married to Moloch, the god of abortion. I saw one million women gathered on the National Mall in the future crying out for the ending of abortion. The second event that I saw was the L.A. Dodgers winning the World Series. This would confirm that God is not done with Los Angeles or the whole state of California. The third event I saw was that Donald J. Trump would be re-elected and would confirm that the spirit and power of Elijah is resting upon the Church.
Once Justice Barrett was confirmed BEFORE the election on October 26th and the Los Angeles Dodgers won the World Series on October 28th, I became convinced that Donald J. Trump would win re-election and began to prophesy that without conditions. These three dreams were published in Charisma Magazine and shared around the world.
Connecting the Five Dates
From January 2015 until October of 2020, I clearly documented in two books all the prophetic dreams God had given me concerning Donald J. Trump. In 2015, I prophesied he was a trumpet, anointed as a Cyrus, and had a specific assignment to the American Church. In 2018, I warned that because of his pride and arrogance, there was great danger in his becoming a Nebuchadnezzar. In 2019, I saw the Swamp was going to drown Donald Trump without serious intervention and prayer. I also had a dream in 2019 where I saw Donald Trump falling before the finish line of the Boston Marathon and unable to get to his feet without the divine intervention and prayers of the saints. I believe all four of these major encounters were accurate and I was on track with what God was saying to our nation. In fact, God gave me clear prophetic warnings throughout his first term that a second term was conditional upon prayer and repentance from the Church.
However, in October of 2020, I believe that I misinterpreted the prophetic dream I had concerning the three events that would happen. The first two parts of the dream obviously came to pass. The LA Dodgers won the World Series and Amy Coney Barrett was installed as a Supreme Court Justice prior to the 2020 elections. Donald J. Trump being re-elected DID NOT happen and I have to own that and repent.
Perhaps, the greatest question for the reader now is, WHY? Why was Donald Trump not re-elected President of the United States. As previously stated, I refuse to blame the saints for their lack of prayers partnering with the prophets. In fact, I believe there has been more prayer and fasting going on in America and parts of the world for this election than ever before. No saint or leader should grow discouraged or think God did not hear their prayers for Donald Trump to be re-elected. I have absolute confidence that God in fact did hear our prayers. I also mentioned that I refuse to declare that Donald Trump actually won the election and that my prophecy was actually right, but the election was rigged. This stance affords me the opportunity to blame an election outcome on others rather than humbling myself and admitting I was wrong.
After much prayer and consideration, this is what I believe has happened.
God Himself anointed Donald Trump in 2016 and then removed him from office in 2020 because of his own pride and arrogance. Joe Biden’s becoming the 46th President of the United States is meant to humble not only Donald Trump but all those who worshipped him more than they kept their focus on Jesus Christ. For the record, if I myself inadvertently persuaded anyone to do this by sharing my prophetic dreams and interpretations with the world, I repent and ask for your forgiveness. I have stated all along, “Political figures can never solve spiritual issues.” Regardless of who sits in the oval office, we have a sin problem in America that the One who sits above the circle of the earth is calling us to give an account for.
I want to be clear: I do not blame God’s people for insufficient prayer that resulted in Donald Trump’s losing the election, nor do I blame any kind of election fraud. I am simply convinced God Himself removed him and there was nothing that any human being could have done about it. I prophesied inaccurately that he would be re-elected because of the dream I had in October 2020. Perhaps the first two parts were born of the Spirit and the third part was of the flesh—a soulish desire of mine that was not from God.
I want to go on record and state that while I do repent for inaccurately prophesying Donald Trump's re-election, I will never repent for being pro-life, pro-religious liberty, pro-Israel, and pro-traditional marriage. These are not partisan issues; these are biblical issues. Yes, I believe the Church would be much better off concerning these issues under another four years of Donald Trump -- if he had repented of his pride and the church had not put him on a pedestal -- but this is not what happened, and I accept it as the will of God. We can kick and scream, or we can humble ourselves and get prostrate in prayer like never before.
As difficult as it will be for millions of Christians in America to accept, I invite you now to consider that God Himself removed Donald Trump from office. May I offer three “do nots” as we move into 2021?
1. Do not be discouraged! God heard our prayers but He has chosen to act in His timeline and in His best interest.
2. Do not waste the next four years blaming and engaging in endless debates online about a stolen election. It will only cause more strife, division, and works of the flesh in the body of Christ.
3. Do not reject prophetic ministry because of the failure of many prominent prophetic voices. They missed it and need to repent, but their failures should only cause you to hunger to know the voice of God for yourself like never before.
A humbling has come and is coming to the American Church like never before. How we choose to respond to this correction and judgment from the Lord will determine many outcomes in the years ahead. I encourage the remnant to continue to stand for righteousness and truth in America. We must focus our efforts on preaching the gospel and making disciples like never before. Remember the words of Jesus, “Let the wheat and tares grow up together until the time of harvest…” I, for one, am choosing today to dedicate 2021 and beyond to the testimony of Jesus Christ. We must prepare for global shaking and a glorious Bride emerging in the earth. We must gain and proclaim a greater focus on His second coming and preparing for a tremendous harvest of souls in the years ahead. A prayer movement like we have never seen is on the horizon. God is calling His people to the frontlines of the battle. It’s going to get a lot darker, but then again, the light is only going to shine brighter and brighter. May humility and repentance be our resolve in the days ahead.
Grace and Peace,
Jeremiah Johnson
